The Power Sword is now available on Steam

Our long dark international nightmare has finally ended. Relic and THQ are happy to announce that the Space Marine Power Sword DLC is now available to purchase through Steam. For $2.99 USD you now can unlock the deadly Power Sword in multiplayer and cut your enemies with more than just your quick wit.

Xbox Dreadnought Assault DLC Playlist Issues Solved

Last week an issue was discovered with our Dreadnought Assault DLC, affecting a small percentage of Xbox 360 users that resulted in their Xbox continually requesting that they download the new maps. With the help of the community the Space Marine team was able to identify the issue and have deployed a fix. Community members affected by the issue have tested the fix and reported back that the issue has resolved.

We thank the community for their help with this issue and are glad that more people will now be able to enjoy the Dreadnought Assault DLC.

Let the games begin! 66% off Dawn of War

The sale on Steam is now underway, with Warhammer titles being 66% off - which includes all Dawn of War II titles, Dawn of War, and Space Marine.

Dawn of War II is also free to play this weekend, and Braden "bC" Chan will be playing online playing in team games of Retribution today and tomorrow. Keep an eye out for him. Good luck and have fun!

Warhammer 40,000 Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Today marks the 25th Anniversary of Warhammer 40,000.
Here at Relic we have been working with Games Workshop and the WH40K universe for a while now and we're grateful for the chance to play around with Games Workshop's creation. From the Blood Ravens of Dawn of War and Dawn of War II to the Ultramarines of Space Marine, we hope you've enjoyed our time in the 40K universe as much as we have.

So congratulations to Games Workshop, and here's to looking forward to another great 25 years, and beyond.

Dreadnoughts Coming To Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. Jan 18, 2012 – THQ Inc. today announced the second downloadable content pack for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is scheduled to release for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Playstation®3 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC on 24th January (US) / 25th January (EU).
